Technical Trainer – IoT & Access Control

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Trainer to design, deliver and continuously improve onboarding and up‑skilling programs for our engineering and support teams. The role focuses on IoT, access‑control solutions and related cloud and mobile technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical onboarding programs for new hires across Software, Firmware, Hardware, QA, Customer Success and Technical Support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, training manuals, knowledge‑base articles, videos and assessments.
• Conduct classroom, virtual and hands‑on training sessions covering BLE, IoT architecture, cloud platforms, mobile apps (Android & iOS), REST APIs, SDK integration, RFID, NFC, biometric technologies, networking fundamentals and smart‑building solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to stay current on releases and product enhancements.
• Build certification programs, evaluate employee competency and track training effectiveness using quizzes and performance metrics.
• Maintain the internal Learning Management System (LMS) and training calendar, and organize workshops, hackathons and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical enablement support to cross‑functional teams.
• Continuously refine training content based on feedback and business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in technical training, engineering enablement or technical education.
• Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, cloud platforms and mobile technologies.
• Experience with access‑control or physical‑security solutions is preferred.
• Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience using LMS platforms and e‑learning authoring tools is an advantage.
