Technical Support Engineer

About the role

SigNoz is a global open‑source observability platform used by developers in over 50 countries. We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer who will directly help customers troubleshoot complex distributed‑system issues and build the processes that scale our customer‑engineering function.

Key responsibilities

• Debug OpenTelemetry instrumentation problems across multiple tech stacks and production environments.
• Create tooling, automation, and processes that improve efficiency for both customers and internal teams.
• Scale the technical operations function and grow into a leadership role as the team expands.
• Communicate directly with users on calls to diagnose and resolve issues.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or engineering roles managing production systems at scale.
• Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly and dive deep into complex problems.
• Hands‑on experience with observability platforms such as SigNoz, Grafana, Prometheus or DataDog.
• Understanding of OpenTelemetry concepts, including instrumentation, collectors and distributed tracing.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and debugging code in at least one language (Go, Java, Python or JavaScript).
• Customer‑engineering mindset with a passion for helping engineers solve technical challenges.
