Technical Support Engineer – Ahmedabad

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. In this position you will provide hardware, software and network assistance to internal users and external customers, ensuring smooth IT operations and a high level of user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues through remote and on‑site support.
• Assist employees and clients with technical queries, software installations and system configurations.
• Perform regular system updates, patches and security fixes to maintain integrity.
• Address internet connectivity problems, VPN configurations and firewall troubleshooting.
• Log, track and resolve tickets using a help‑desk system.
• Install, configure and maintain printers, scanners and other IT peripherals.
• Enforce IT security policies, manage access controls and oversee data backup solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Relevant experience in technical support, help‑desk or system administration.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, CCNA or MCITP are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Windows, MacOS and Linux troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, VPNs and remote troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and Active Directory.
• Experience with cloud‑based services.
• Hands‑on experience with SMTP, IMAP and POP3.
• Hardware support including printer and scanner configuration.
