Technical Project / Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects that support semiconductor and advanced display manufacturing. The role is based in Bangalore and focuses on planning, execution, and continuous improvement of technical initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project plans and coordinate deliverables from planning through implementation.
• Maintain a matrix for process improvements and drive project tasks using reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
• Align internal resources to meet on‑time, on‑budget objectives and monitor cost performance.
• Participate in intra‑business unit design teams, contribute to technical development, and research obstacles to implement solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in the discipline with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Understands best practices, market competition, and how the role integrates with other functions.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and can lead small, low‑risk projects.
• Solves complex problems by analyzing multiple information sources and builds consensus on sensitive issues.
