Technical Project Manager – Semiconductor Projects

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive end‑to‑end project delivery for semiconductor equipment and related services. You will create comprehensive project plans, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure successful implementation and deployment of solutions for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own comprehensive project plans from conception through implementation and deployment.
• Manage project schedules, task execution, and status reporting using project‑management tools and scheduling software.
• Drive cost, schedule, and performance objectives for equipment and deliverables, collaborating with global vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify risks and issues, and create mitigation and resolution plans.
• Provide technical input and guidance to cross‑functional design teams and support supply‑chain projects for the AGS business unit.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management, engineering, or supply‑chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply‑Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry or with semiconductor components, OEM parts, and advanced materials is preferred.
• Proven ability to work with global suppliers, vendors, and matrixed internal teams.
• Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills in a matrixed organization.
