Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of technology initiatives for our clients in the banking and GCC sectors. Based in Mumbai, you will work on‑site, coordinating cross‑functional teams and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor technical projects from inception to closure, maintaining schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Track progress using performance metrics and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with business owners and technical leads.
• Oversee technical aspects of solutions, offering guidance to development teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contractual obligations and service levels are met.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk registers and post‑implementation reviews.
• Apply best‑practice project management methodologies and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical project management.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on development experience before moving into project management.
• Proven experience managing IT vendors, especially within banking, GCC or similar environments.
• Strong stakeholder and governance management capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or Agile are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA and Trello.
