Technical Project Manager – Battery Management Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead a team of hardware designers in the development of Battery Management System (BMS) modules, both low‑voltage (LV) and high‑voltage (HV). The role involves overseeing the full hardware development lifecycle, ensuring functional safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, timeline, budget, and allocate resources for hardware development.
• Lead HW designers in designing electronic circuits, creating creepage distance matrices, and reviewing PCB layouts.
• Manage functional safety activities, including requirement analysis, FMEA, FMEDA, and safety documentation.
• Conduct Monte Carlo simulations, worst‑case calculations, and hardware verification tests (LV124, ISO 16750).
• Coordinate component selection using DAR, create test specifications, and document design and test results.
• Utilise DOORS for requirement management and handle PCN/PTN processes.

Required profile

• 10–16 years of experience in hardware development for BMS or similar safety‑critical systems.
• Strong background in functional safety and hardware verification.
• Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, high‑voltage power supplies, and function generators.
• Excellent debugging and soldering skills.
