Technical Manager – Core Banking Architecture

About the role

KPMG India is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the architecture and transformation of core banking solutions. The role focuses on designing enterprise‑wide systems, driving migration projects, and ensuring robust, secure, and future‑ready banking applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise banking systems, with a focus on TCS BaNCS Core Banking Application.
• Manage application ecosystem migrations and transformation initiatives using patterns such as Strangler and Hollow‑out the Core.
• Facilitate event‑storming workshops and define event‑driven architectures.
• Prepare high‑impact presentations and PowerPoint decks for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevSecOps practices.

Required profile

• 12–16 years of relevant experience, preferably in an architect or technical lead capacity.
• Technical education mandatory – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
