Technical Design Engineer

About the role

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Design Engineer to lead design development, engineering calculations and manufacturing drawing creation for industrial special‑purpose systems. The role works closely with production and project execution teams to deliver efficient, manufacturable designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop structural support systems, special components and application‑based engineering systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering, fabrication, assembly and manufacturing drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations, load analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
• Create Bills of Materials, technical specifications and design reports.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing and support production teams in resolving fabrication issues.
• Review site measurements, support installation and commissioning, and ensure designs meet site requirements.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design or special‑purpose engineering systems.
• Proven ability to develop manufacturable, optimized designs and to collaborate with production and project execution teams.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor (Tekla preferred).
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and load calculations.
• Structural and sheet‑metal design, fabrication drawing creation.
• BOM preparation and technical documentation.
