Tech Lead – SAP Business Technology Platform

About the role

Assystem is looking for a senior Tech Lead to drive the design, development and delivery of complex SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions across multiple countries and stakeholders. The role sits within the ATP transformation programme, accelerating the rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the BTP architecture, ensuring code quality and alignment with SAP best practices (Clean Core, side‑by‑side extensibility, API‑first).
• Design and implement BTP extensions using CAP (Node.js or Java) and build OData/REST APIs.
• Develop Fiori/UI5 applications when required and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards.
• Create reusable assets, development guidelines, and support team up‑skilling.
• Implement integrations via SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management) and design secure, scalable interfaces with S/4HANA and third‑party systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and participate in testing and validation phases.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in SAP BTP and related technologies.
• Hands‑on technical leadership with a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and functional teams.
• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
