Team Leader - Training Devices Operations

About the role

The Team Leader – Training Devices Operations is responsible for coordinating technical tasks within the shift team and ensuring seamless hand‑over between shifts. This role provides 24/7 front‑line support for flight‑training devices, guaranteeing high customer satisfaction and continuous operation of the training centre.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities during the shift, manage hand‑overs and ensure continuity of operations.
• Support FSTD technical aspects during audits, surveillance checks and provide troubleshooting guidance irrespective of roster cycles.
• Plan, execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, software updates and hardware repairs.
• Analyse qualification test guides, prepare yearly approvals and manage spare‑parts inventory.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, monitor discrepancy reports and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with central support teams, OEMs and quality teams, and act as the point of contact for instructors and trainees.
• Lead projects aimed at reliability improvement, obsolescence mitigation and aircraft database updates.

Required profile

• Availability to work in a 24/7 environment and make technical, operational and relational decisions.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills for regular interaction with internal and external teams.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to propose corrective maintenance solutions.
