Team Lead – Trade Promotions & Claims (Consumer Health)

About the role

This global leadership position oversees end‑to‑end governance of trade promotions and claims for a consumer health business across more than 30 markets. You will lead a specialised team, ensure accurate promotion setup and claim processing in SAP and Anaplan, and maintain strong financial controls and SOX compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team responsible for trade promotion management and claim processing, defining KPIs such as TAT, accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee setup, validation and tracking of promotional schemes in SAP and Anaplan TPM/TCM, ensuring correct mapping of spend, mechanics and retailer agreements.
• Process distributor and retailer claims timely and accurately, validate against scheme approvals and commercial guidelines, and manage claim aging and disputes.
• Maintain financial governance on trade spends, promo budgets and accruals, support audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Deliver periodic reports and analytics on claim status, promo performance and spend utilization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Key Accounts and Finance to align budgets, accruals and resolve claim issues.

Required profile

• CA, CMA or MBA with 8‑10 years of experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods trade promotions, sales finance or claims management.
• Strong understanding of consumer health trade structures and scheme mechanics.
