Team Lead – Sort Center Operations

About the role
Amazon is seeking a customer‑obsessed Team Lead to manage a shift at a Sort Center. You will ensure smooth operations, resolve issues that affect customer experience, and drive continuous improvement across the team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a shift, monitor performance and implement change management initiatives.
- Develop and use performance metrics to improve team results and business outcomes.
- Analyze trends, make data‑backed decisions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal teams (finance, operations excellence, fulfillment centers).
- Escalate and resolve operational variances, ensuring timely follow‑up.
- Extract data from multiple sources and produce ad‑hoc reports and analyses.
Required profile
- Basic understanding of logistics and sort‑center operations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to identify process improvements and drive them to completion.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data to influence decisions.
