Team Lead – Field Engineer

About the role

Addepar is seeking a player‑coach to lead a team of field engineers while delivering the most complex technical engagements. You will act as the technical anchor for client integrations, automations, and data solutions, working across the full Addepar platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and daily guidance to a team of field engineers while remaining hands‑on on the most challenging projects.
• Architect, build, and deliver custom integrations, automations, and data pipelines using Addepar APIs, Databricks (ADX), and modern engineering tools.
• Manage work allocation across simultaneous client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with cross‑functional partners.
• Design production‑grade solutions that improve client onboarding efficiency, reduce time‑to‑value, and enable operational scale.
• Develop AI‑driven automation, including LLM‑based tools, to solve complex data transformation and validation challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of experience in software or data engineering with a track record of mentoring or leading engineers.
• Strong communication skills, able to present technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of prioritizing multiple client engagements.
• Independent, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
