Taxi Driver (Car Pilot) – Kangra

About the role

Clixi is a local mobility platform in Himachal Pradesh looking for drivers to join its network in Kangra. As a Taxi Driver (also called Car Pilot), you will use the Clixi app to connect with passengers and provide safe, reliable transport across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Accept ride requests through the Clixi driver app and transport passengers to their destinations safely.
• Maintain a clean and road‑worthy vehicle that meets all legal and safety requirements.
• Follow local traffic rules and adapt to the hilly terrain, steep roads, and variable weather conditions.
• Use the app for navigation, fare tracking, and communication with riders.
• Report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly to Clixi support.

Required profile

• Own a 4‑wheel vehicle (hatchback, sedan or SUV) in good working condition.
• Valid LMV driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, up‑to‑date insurance and PUC certificate.
• Smartphone (Android preferred) with reliable 3G/4G/5G internet access.
• Aadhar and PAN card for identity verification.

Required skills

• Proficient use of an Android smartphone and mobile applications.
• Basic GPS navigation and map reading.
• Ability to maintain internet connectivity while on the road.
