Taxation Manager

About the role

The Taxation Manager will lead tax compliance, planning and advisory activities across the company's Indian and global operations, ensuring adherence to evolving tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage direct tax compliances, tax audits, assessments, appeals, and transfer pricing matters.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compute advance tax, withholding tax, deferred tax, and corporate income tax.
• Represent the organization before tax authorities and coordinate with government agencies and consultants.
• Review commercial contracts from a tax perspective and provide strategic tax advisory.
• Monitor tax compliance across group companies in India and overseas.
• Drive tax planning initiatives and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5–6 years of experience in taxation, compliance, planning, and management.
• Proven experience handling Direct Tax Assessments, DRP, and Appeals independently for at least 3–4 years.
• Exposure to taxation in key overseas jurisdictions.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Indian Direct Tax laws, withholding taxes, and international taxation.
• Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations in India.
• Experience with tax audits, tax accounting, and tax compliance.
