Tax Technology Consultant – Oracle EBS (Multiple Cities)

About the role

Join Deloitte's Tax Technology Consulting team to help US‑based clients transform their tax functions using Oracle EBS and cloud solutions. You will work on tax automation, process redesign and system implementation across major Indian cities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client workshops and gather detailed tax requirements.
• Perform system fit and gap analysis for tax processes.
• Advise on tax department strategy, policy, and governance.
• Design and redesign tax department processes, evaluating automation opportunities.
• Develop tax solutions and configure Oracle EBS/Financials Cloud modules.
• Lead user acceptance testing, create test scenarios and identify improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounts or equivalent.
• MBA or Chartered Accountant qualification with finance, accounting, taxation or auditing experience.
• 3‑6 years of experience with Oracle EBS finance modules or Oracle Financials Cloud modules affecting tax.

Required skills

• Oracle E‑Business Tax and Oracle ERP Cloud tax modules (including withholding tax).
• Trading Community Architecture, Order Management/iStore, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing/iExpense, Accounts Payable, Supplier Master/iSupplier Portal, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, General Ledger.
• Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) and financial consolidation tools such as Hyperion.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
