Tax Specialist – GST & TDS Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Specialist to lead our GST and TDS compliance function. The role involves end‑to‑end management of tax filings, reconciliations and audit support, ensuring the company remains fully compliant with Indian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own complete GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR‑1 and GSTR‑3B.
• Perform detailed GSTR‑2B reconciliations and manage accurate ITC claims.
• Handle TDS deductions, filings and reconciliation with Form 26AS, maintaining timely compliance.
• Conduct periodic GST, TDS and related reconciliations to keep books audit‑ready.
• Address GST notices and departmental queries, coordinating with external consultants when needed.
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing accurate data, reconciliations and explanations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and vendor teams to embed tax‑compliant processes and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in GST and TDS compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations and experience handling audits or notices independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or a related field; CA Inter or relevant taxation experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems such as SAP B1.
