Tax Specialist (Direct Tax & Transfer Pricing)

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Specialist to support our global tax team in direct tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and corporate tax reporting. The role involves assisting senior tax professionals with a wide range of statutory and regulatory filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation (92D) and TP assessments.
• Assist in drafting submissions for Corporate Income Tax (CIT) appeals and Income Tax Appellate Tribunal matters.
• Support the preparation of corporate tax assessments and global tax reporting requirements, including Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CBCR) and Master File.
• Analyze IND‑AS impact on tax computation and reporting.
• Compute global/foreign tax credits, income‑tax liability, advance tax, and file income‑tax returns (including Form 67 and Form 3CEB).
• Participate in tax audits, tax provision calculations, deferred tax, and effective tax rate reconciliation for monthly closing.
• Coordinate documentation for dividend distribution to non‑residents and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Review tax clauses in service agreements and contracts, and assist with MAP applications under the India‑USA DTAA.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Indian direct tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and international tax treaties.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global tax, finance, and legal teams.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset for tax calculations and reporting.
