Tax Senior – Federal Taxation

About the role

WPP is seeking a Tax Senior to join its US Tax team supporting the New York corporate headquarters. Based in Bangalore, the role works in a hybrid model and offers exposure to a global transformation journey within the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Federal Tax Returns for US legal entities such as corporations, partnerships and foundations.
• Calculate book‑to‑tax differences, including permanent and timing differences.
• Assist in the preparation of the consolidated US tax return, including forms, schedules and elections.
• Support year‑end tax provision work, US federal taxable income forecasts and estimated tax payments.
• Participate in tax planning and transactional assignments.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to Tax Directors and Senior Tax Managers.
• Oversee and mentor Tax Interns on their assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in US Federal Taxation, covering corporate and partnership returns.
• Hands‑on experience with the CorpTax tool.
• Willingness to work hybrid with standard UK hours.
