Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Chartered Accountant to lead our end‑to‑end taxation function. The Tax Manager will ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, support tax planning, manage audits, and partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen tax governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage direct tax compliance, including advance tax, TDS, income‑tax returns, provisions, and liaison with tax authorities.
• Oversee GST compliance: return filing, reconciliations, input‑tax‑credit management, and audit handling.
• Maintain documentation, identify tax risks, and drive improvements in compliance processes and internal controls.
• Provide tax advisory support to business units, evaluate tax implications of new initiatives, and assist finance teams with tax‑related queries.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and external tax consultants; manage tax schedules for financial reporting.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with First Attempt.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in end‑to‑end taxation.
• Exposure to ERP‑based taxation processes and tax automation initiatives.
• Based in Thane/Mumbai, India.
