Tax Manager

About the role

Accxel Consulting is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA or CA Inter) to lead its Australian tax practice. The Tax Manager will work with a portfolio of global clients, providing end‑to‑end tax services and ensuring compliance with Australian tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Australian direct and indirect tax returns, including income tax, GST and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Deliver company and individual tax return services for a diverse client base.
• Provide tax planning and advisory recommendations to optimise clients’ tax positions.
• Assist with entity setup, corporate structuring and compliance for Self‑Managed Super Funds (SMSF).
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in Australian tax law and advise internal teams and clients accordingly.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA or CA Inter) with hands‑on experience in Australian taxation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deliver high‑quality tax advice.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
