Tax Manager – Foreign Reporting & CapEx

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Tax Manager (L6) to join its Direct Tax Reporting team in Hyderabad. The role supports the Worldwide CapEx team by analyzing capital expenditure transactions and ensuring accurate tax reporting across multiple foreign jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze CapEx‑related transactions such as operating and capital leases, depreciation of fixed assets, amortization of intangibles, and cost recovery of digital content.
• Calculate tax adjustments for various foreign jurisdictions.
• Timely and accurately report the income‑tax impact of global CapEx for tax reporting and planning needs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in a multinational corporate tax department.
• Chartered Accountant, CPA, or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Background in fixed assets or intangibles with comfort handling large data sets and complex cost‑recovery rules.
