About the role

Web Jeevan is looking for a skilled Tax Consultant to join its finance team. You will provide expert tax advice, ensure compliance, and help clients optimise their financial strategies in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Deliver personalised tax consultations and develop strategic tax plans to minimise liabilities.
• Stay current with tax law changes and ensure client compliance.
• Analyse financial records to uncover tax‑saving opportunities and provide actionable insights.
• Support clients during tax audits, preparing documentation and liaising with authorities.
• Collaborate with the finance team to integrate tax strategies into broader financial plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or EA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months professional experience in tax consulting or accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and precision in documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software such as TurboTax and H&R Block.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
