Tax and Labor Compliance Executive

About the role

FAST Solutions India is seeking a Tax and Labor Compliance Executive to lead day‑to‑day compliance activities for its diverse client base. The role is based on‑site in Malad (West), Mumbai and involves close interaction with internal teams and client representatives to ensure accurate and timely statutory filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file direct and indirect tax returns, including Income Tax and GST.
• Manage statutory labor law filings such as PF, ESIC, gratuity and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with tax and labor authorities, maintaining up‑to‑date compliance documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes, interpret legislation and advise clients on risk mitigation.
• Support audits and inspections, ensuring timely payment of statutory dues.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Indian direct and indirect taxation and labor law regulations.
• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field; professional tax or compliance certifications are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and basic accounting/compliance software.
