Tax Analyst – Statutory Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its Finance Operations vertical. The analyst will support statutory reporting and tax compliance activities, ensuring accurate preparation, filing, and reconciliation of complex tax returns across federal, state, and international jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect operational data and generate reports to determine financial outcomes.
• Prepare and file statutory tax returns, monthly/quarterly calculations, and workpapers.
• Record and report tax transactions, reconcile effective tax rates, and perform IFRS to local GAAP reconciliations.
• Execute quality testing, draft control design and remediation plans, and monitor audit compliance.
• Communicate testing results, audit observations, and status reports to process owners and auditors.

Required profile

• Commerce graduate, MBA, CA, CFA, CMA or ICWA.
• 3‑5 years of experience in tax compliance, statutory reporting, and audit testing.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations.
