Tax Analyst – Statutory Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its Finance Operations vertical. The role focuses on statutory reporting and tax compliance, preparing complex tax returns, and supporting financial outcome analysis through data collection and transaction reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file Federal, State, and International tax returns.
• Develop monthly and quarterly tax calculations, workpapers, and effective tax rate reconciliations.
• Perform IFRS to local GAAP reconciliations, update note accounts, and handle XBRL tagging.
• Collect operational data, conduct analysis, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Execute quality testing, draft control design and remediation plans, and ensure audit compliance.
• Communicate testing results and documentation requests to process owners and auditors.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Commerce graduate, MBA, Finance, CA, CFA, CMA or ICWA qualification.
• Experience with Federal, State and International tax returns and tax process design.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to policy and procedure guidelines.
