Talent Acquisition Recruiter

About the role

Presidency University is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for non‑academic, administrative, student affairs, and operational roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the education or ed‑tech sector and be able to deliver a professional, inclusive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for a variety of non‑academic positions, from sourcing to offer.
• Utilize job portals, professional networks, and diversity‑focused channels to attract qualified talent.
• Screen applications, conduct initial phone/video interviews, and assess candidates against university values and competencies.
• Support faculty recruitment by coordinating advertisements, interview schedules, and candidate logistics.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, employment law, and equal‑opportunity guidelines.
• Maintain accurate data in the ATS and produce reports on time‑to‑fill, diversity metrics, and other hiring KPIs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the education or ed‑tech sector.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume hiring while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong understanding of compliance, diversity, and university hiring policies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience using job boards, professional networking sites, and diversity recruitment platforms.
