About the role

Join the Prime Video Global Operations team in Chennai and help shape the future of entertainment. As a Systems Development Engineer II you will own critical modules of a mission‑critical Work Management Platform that powers content publishing, quality assurance, and model training for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and operate platform modules end‑to‑end.
• Lead technical design for medium‑to‑large feature initiatives, balancing scalability and delivery speed.
• Build data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and integrations using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Create automation, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Reduce operational toil through self‑service tooling and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with product managers and operations leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
