Systems Administrator – Windows & VMware

About the role

We are seeking a results‑oriented Systems Administrator with extensive experience in Windows and VMware environments. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, managing complex migrations, and driving automation to improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Administer VMware vSphere 7.x and 8.0, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN clusters.
• Manage the lifecycle of Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, covering Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Failover Clustering.
• Monitor and optimise system performance using vROps, analysing CPU, memory, and storage utilisation and performing VM rightsizing.
• Implement security hardening and automated patch management with SCCM and BigFix.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell and PowerCLI scripts for VM provisioning, snapshot management, and reporting.
• Provision storage LUNs and manage datastore clusters on Dell EMC storage arrays.
• Follow ITIL‑based change and incident management processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise‑grade virtualised and Windows infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere (7.x/8.0) and Windows Server platforms (2016‑2022).
• Proven ability to monitor performance, automate tasks, and enforce security best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management procedures.
