System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure. The role involves ensuring system reliability, security, and performance across our environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable and secure systems, and upgrade existing hardware and software components.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and security; perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates and patches.
• Enforce IT security policies, manage antivirus, firewall, and other security tools, and respond to security incidents.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly test backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2‑5 years of experience in a system engineering role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities, with capacity to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with operating systems: Windows, Linux, UNIX.
• Experience in system performance monitoring, security management, and backup/disaster recovery processes.
