System Administrator – Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365 & AWS

About the role

MADTECH.AI is seeking a proactive System Administrator to manage and support its Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, and AWS environments. The role involves maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability and security, and providing end‑user support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Linux systems, and Active Directory.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Support AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC).
• Provision user accounts, manage permissions, licenses, and MFA.
• Perform system monitoring, patch management, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot server, OS, cloud, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Maintain documentation and collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and IT Support teams.
• Participate in rotational shifts and on‑call support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of System Administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Linux Administration, and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, VPC).
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with backup, monitoring, and endpoint security tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS‑900), Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate, AWS SysOps or Solutions Architect – Associate, RHCSA/RHCE or Windows Server certification.
