System Administrator / Senior System Administrator

About the role

Brennan is looking for a proactive System Administrator (or Senior System Administrator) to deliver first‑level technical support and ensure the optimal operation of client and internal cloud/infrastructure services. You will work closely with engineers, clients and internal teams to monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support and monitoring for Brennan IT clients and staff.
• Maintain and contribute to knowledge management systems for technical processes.
• Monitor servers using Logic Monitor, N‑ABLE and related tools.
• Configure and manage Intune, SCCM, O365, Mimecast and Azure integrations.
• Manage security settings in Microsoft ATP and endpoint solutions such as Sophos, SentinelOne and CrowdStrike.
• Coordinate vendor relationships with hardware and software providers (HP, Dell, Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, etc.).
• Administer storage solutions (NAS, SAN, Data Domain, IBM, NetApp, Hitachi, Fujitsu, HP 3PAR).
• Handle Windows Server administration, group policies, DNS, DHCP and backup solutions (Veeam, Symantec, Zerto, Commvault).
• Execute maintenance tasks, application upgrades, patch escalations and VM migrations to the cloud.
• Investigate and escalate incidents according to the escalation matrix and client‑facing survey metrics.
