System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our busy software office in Vadodara. The role involves ensuring continuous operation of all IT systems, optimizing hardware and software resources, and maintaining reliable backup and recovery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers, workstations and network equipment to prevent system downtime.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery plans for critical data.
• Upgrade hardware, replace faulty components and manage telecommunication equipment.
• Assist end‑users with basic IT support, troubleshooting software issues and answering technical queries.
• Support security measures, including implementation of patches and security configurations.
• Participate in special projects and system performance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in system administration or a similar IT role.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Microsoft Windows operating system administration.
• General operating system knowledge (e.g., Linux).
• Hardware maintenance and replacement.
• Telecommunication equipment handling.
• Backup and recovery solutions.
