System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a System / IT Administrator to maintain our secure computing environment, monitor network infrastructure, and manage server availability. The role ensures maximum system uptime and enforces HIPAA security compliance across all endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network hardware, and client systems.
• Monitor system performance, perform backups, and execute disaster‑recovery plans.
• Enforce user access management, group policies, and biometric security controls.
• Implement endpoint security, anti‑virus updates, firewall rules, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for local and remote users.
• Audit systems regularly to ensure alignment with HIPAA security regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on system administration experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• Familiarity with network configuration, firewalls, routing and switches.
• Knowledge of virtual‑machine environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA, CCNA or Security+ are highly desirable.
• Understanding of enterprise security protocols and compliance audits.
