System Administrator - IT Support

About the role

The System Administrator will ensure the reliable operation of our computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments. You will support secure infrastructures, perform system upgrades, monitor performance, and proactively maintain high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed Windows and Linux systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file systems.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools in collaboration with the security team.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
• Monitor system resource utilization, perform trending and capacity planning.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and hybrid infrastructure where applicable.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and support patch management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure system configurations and compliance.

Required profile

• B.Tech or equivalent degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in system administration, IT support, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with system scripting using PowerShell and Bash.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Office 365 administration.
• Good grasp of backup, disaster recovery procedures, and cybersecurity best practices.
