System Administrator (Head Office)

About the role

Axis My India Limited is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage its head‑office IT infrastructure. The role involves overseeing Windows and Linux servers, cloud services, networking, and end‑user support to ensure reliable operations for the company’s consumer data intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux servers.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers and Group Policy Objects.
• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, switches, routers and wireless access points.
• Manage FortiGate firewalls, VPNs and overall network security.
• Oversee VMware virtualization, Veeam backup solutions and NAS/SAN storage.
• Administer Microsoft 365 suite, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune and Azure AD.
• Provide L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, applications, printers and network connectivity.
• Handle user onboarding/off‑boarding, asset tracking, software licensing and vendor coordination.
• Support cloud environments on AWS, Azure and GCP, including EC2, VPC, IAM and cost monitoring.
• Maintain GitHub and Jira administration, monitor servers, CCTV, IP‑PBX and other infrastructure components.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Hands‑on knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls and virtualization.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Microsoft 365 services.
• Ability to deliver L1/L2 end‑user support and manage IT assets.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with users and vendors.
