Surveyor – Site Measurements & Alignment

About the role

The Surveyor will be responsible for executing all survey‑related activities on construction sites, ensuring precise measurements, alignment, and positioning in line with project drawings and specifications. This role covers pre‑construction, ongoing, and post‑construction surveys while maintaining thorough documentation and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish benchmarks and control points according to the approved survey plan.
• Carry out day‑to‑day topographical, land, and as‑built surveys using modern equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for accurate site execution.
• Set out works, verify site levels, alignments, and dimensions, and prepare field notes and survey reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to meet survey requirements.
• Perform quantity measurements and assist in volume calculations for earthwork and excavation.
• Calibrate and maintain survey instruments in collaboration with the QC Engineer.
• Support the preparation of survey data for CAD drawings and reports.

Required profile

• Experience conducting construction and land surveys on site.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good coordination skills with engineers, contractors, and project teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station equipment.
• Proficiency with Auto Level instruments.
• Ability to work with CAD software for survey data preparation.
