Support Line Inspector

About the role

The Support Line Inspector ensures smooth operation of the coating line by monitoring key parameters, conducting laboratory tests, and inspecting both incoming and finished metal coils. This position plays a vital role in maintaining product quality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor coating line parameters such as temperature, coating thickness, and line speed.
• Perform laboratory testing of water and aluminium samples to verify compliance.
• Inspect incoming coils from various sources for quality and specification adherence.
• Inspect finished coils after coating, annealing, and slitting processes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and test certificates.
• Maintain proper documentation and support SOP/SWI implementation.
• Identify defects, ensure quality compliance, and assist with corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial production or coating line environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Capability to identify defects and support quality corrective measures.
