Support Engineer I

About the role

Synoptek is looking for an entry‑level Support Engineer to join its growing team in India. You will be the first point of contact for clients, providing technical assistance, incident management and ensuring service level agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Tri­age, assign and resolve support tickets across Windows and Mac environments.
• Troubleshoot client incidents, perform remote diagnostics and password management.
• Escalate complex issues to senior teams proactively.
• Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update the knowledge base.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical users.
• Adhere to security standards and support processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in technical support or service‑desk environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tickets, meet SLA targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Experience with knowledge‑base management and escalation handling.
