Supply Chain Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Data Scientist to apply data‑science techniques to planning and inventory management. The role bridges analytics, supply‑chain processes and SAP systems to generate financial value and operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy analytical tools, optimization models and simulations that support supply‑chain planning.
• Work on portfolio segmentation, product life‑cycle management, replenishment strategy design and inventory optimisation across the distribution network.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
• Maintain and extend SAP planning system data structures, including APO/IBP and related tables and transactions.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables while ensuring continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain planning and project management.
• Strong understanding of SAP planning solutions (APO, IBP, OM Partners) and underlying data architecture.
• Ability to work independently with a hands‑on, improvement‑focused mindset.
• Solid grasp of statistical methods and their practical application to business problems.
