Sub Contract Manager – Outside Processing (OSP)

About the role

Moog is seeking a Sub Contract Manager – Outside Processing (OSP) to lead supplier management for aerospace special processes in the Asia region. Based onsite in Bangalore, you will act as the primary liaison between Moog, its Tier‑1 partners and OSP suppliers, ensuring seamless integration of supply‑chain requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple sub‑contracts and strategic agreements, applying program and project management tools to control risk, cost, schedule, technical, quality and contractual obligations.
• Lead cost‑management initiatives for the OSP order book across Asia, optimizing batch sizes and minimizing expedite fees.
• Support source‑selection activities and develop subcontract management plans for complex development and production needs.
• Maintain strategic relationships with key OSP suppliers, fostering collaboration between Moog sites and partners.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance across the end‑to‑end value stream, reporting metrics to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with all Supply Chain functions and provide subcontract management expertise to the team.
• Identify and drive improvement opportunities, including joint supplier projects.
• Assist the Strategic Sourcing team in creating Subcontractor Statements of Work and related activities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of internal and external customer requirements within aerospace or related high‑tech industries.
• Proven experience in subcontract or strategic agreement management, preferably in an international supply‑chain environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cost‑optimization and risk‑mitigation initiatives.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to assess supplier capacity, capability and performance metrics.
