Structure Designer – E3D

About the role

Assystem is seeking a Structure Designer proficient in Aveva E3D to develop structural and support models for critical infrastructure projects in Mumbai. The role involves creating detailed 3‑D and 2‑D models, preparing fabrication drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Read and understand the Structure & Support module in E3D.
• Use the E3D Structural module for layouts, views, sections, and connections.
• Generate fabrication drawings with the E3D 2D Draw module.
• Review supports in Navisworks for clash analysis.
• Coordinate updates and modifications with other disciplines.
• Extract BOM/MTO for each drawing.
• Create and print A1/A3 fabrication drawings with BOM.
• Organize tasks according to schedule, track team activities, and report to the Lead.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of E3D 2D/3D and Draft modules.
• Experience in steel structure fabrication and erection works.
• Ability to work on pipe and HVAC supports in E3D.
• Preferred immediate joiner.

Required skills

• Aveva E3D (Structural and 2D Draw modules).
• Navisworks for clash detection.
• Weld and bolt detailing according to Eurocode 3.
• BOM/MTO extraction and fabrication drawing creation.
