Structural Engineer III – Design & Coordination

About the role

Join AECOM’s Mumbai team as a Structural Engineer III, contributing to the design, coordination, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will work closely with senior staff to translate project requirements into robust structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, coordination, planning and completion of engineering projects.
• Communicate with senior staff to understand project requirements and formulate task approaches.
• Perform analysis and design of structural systems for various building types using relevant codes.
• Manage project design deliverables, supervise junior engineers and modelers, and prepare contract documents.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance, monitor project timelines, and explore automation of repetitive tasks.

Required profile

• 6–9 years of experience on similar structural projects.
• Undergraduate degree in structural engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of RCC and structural steel.
• Proficiency with Indian codes; familiarity with US, BS, Eurocodes is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.
• Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Programming/macros and Excel design sheets (desirable).
• Rhino, Grasshopper, Python (plus).
