Structural Design Engineer – Buildings

About the role

Assystem Stup is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to lead the analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings in India. The role involves applying Indian and ACI standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rigorous structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings using STAAD, ETABS, SAFE and SAP2000.
• Apply Indian and ACI codes to ensure compliance and structural integrity.
• Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings and steel connection details in accordance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and project managers to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Tech in Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering for building projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and structural integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with advanced structural analysis software: STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000.
• In‑depth knowledge of Indian and ACI design standards.
• Expertise in reinforced concrete and steel building design.
• Ability to produce detailed reinforcement plans and steel connection details.
