Strategic Advisor – Enterprise & Telecom Business Development

About the role

Matrix Shell Technologies is seeking a senior Strategic Advisor to help shape its go‑to‑market strategy for Telco Security Wiz, an automated penetration‑testing SaaS platform for telecom networks. The advisor will work 9‑10 hours per month with the founding team, providing market insight, introductions and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on enterprise sales strategy, deal structuring and contract negotiation with Tier‑1 operators and vendors.
• Guide pricing, packaging and positioning as the company transitions from founder‑led sales to a scalable GTM motion.
• Make warm introductions to CISOs, CTOs and heads of network security at MNOs, MVNOs and equipment vendors across target regions (Southeast Asia, Gulf, APAC, Europe).
• Facilitate connections with strategic investors, telecom‑focused VCs and family offices.
• Support engagement with national regulators and standards bodies (GSMA, 3GPP).
• Identify and negotiate partnership models with system integrators, MSSPs and consulting firms.
• Provide candid feedback to the CEO and board on high‑stakes decisions and fundraising strategy.

Required profile

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in telecom operations, telecom technology, enterprise cybersecurity or B2B SaaS at scale.
• Previous C‑suite, VP or Director role at an MNO, telecom equipment vendor or telecom‑focused organization.
• Proven track record of opening doors with Tier‑1 operators, regulators and equipment manufacturers.
• Strong network within telecom security decision‑makers and investor community.
