Stores Executive – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Stores Executive with 4‑6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to oversee daily store and inventory activities. The role involves managing material receipt, storage, issue, and coordination with production, purchase, and other support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store and warehouse operations within the plant.
• Receive and verify raw materials, components, consumables against purchase orders, invoices and delivery documents.
• Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and related records.
• Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of all materials.
• Issue materials to production based on authorized requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards and inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with Purchase/Planning.
• Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation for inward, outward, transfer, return and scrap movements.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO practices and uphold 5S and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Finance, Maintenance and other departments for material‑related activities.
• Prepare regular reports on stock status, material movement and consumption.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Materials Management.
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience in stores/warehouse operations within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling and documentation.
• Ability to work accurately in a plant environment and maintain detailed records.

Required skills

• ERP/SAP/Tally or similar inventory management software.
• MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• FIFO, FEFO and 5S practices.
• Bin management and material identification.
