Stores Executive

About the role

Wärtsilä is seeking a Stores Executive to manage warehouse operations at its Khopoli facility. The role involves handling all aspects of container and material movement, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and supporting the company’s commitment to safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload containers, record keeping for all containers.
• Stuff finished goods, pack, lash, and manage fumigation activities.
• Weigh containers and prepare export shipment documentation.
• Pack, unpack, pick, and issue material to production according to pick lists.
• Enter bin card transactions for every issue and receipt.
• Perform material handling, including loading/unloading from vehicles.
• Conduct perpetual inventory counts and lead 100% physical inventory counting.
• Maintain block stock accountability and bin material to correct locations.
• Execute 5S activities in stores and surrounding areas.
• Manage scrap yard activities, including segregation, disposal, and 5S compliance.
• Ensure safety compliance for stores and logistics functions.

Required profile

• Any graduate degree.
• Willingness to work onsite at Khopoli, India.
• Commitment to safety standards and environmental best practices.
