Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Hotel Amar Palace’s store, ensuring that stock is available, inventory is accurately controlled, and supplies are procured in a timely manner. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Ambala.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors to maintain optimal inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, and stock movements.
• Implement retail loss‑prevention measures to safeguard assets and minimise shrinkage.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to meet operational needs and uphold quality standards.
• Supervise store staff, enforce policies, and foster a customer‑focused environment.
• Support overall guest satisfaction through efficient store operations.

Required profile

• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors, internal teams, and management.
• Store management expertise, including inventory control, ordering and stock organisation.
• Retail loss‑prevention knowledge to protect assets.
• Relevant experience in hospitality or retail operations, preferably within a hotel.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ambala, manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with inventory management systems or MS Office tools.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in store management is mandatory.
