Store Keeper – Technical (Solar Project)

About the role

The company is looking for a Store Keeper Technical to manage all material handling for a solar power project. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and tracking a wide range of solar components, ensuring that the site has the right items at the right time while maintaining strict traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Store solar project materials according to manufacturer recommendations and maintain proper conditions to avoid damage, moisture, corrosion or theft.
• Issue materials to site engineers, contractors and subcontractors based on approved requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using software or Excel, monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock verification and physical inventory counts.
• Maintain serial‑number records for PV modules, inverters and other major equipment.
• Segregate, report and manage damaged, rejected or surplus items.
• Prepare daily stock reports, Goods Receipt Notes, Goods Issue Notes and inventory reconciliation reports after project completion.

Required profile

• Experience with solar PV modules, inverters, module mounting structures and Balance‑of‑System (BOS) materials.
• Familiarity with high‑tension/low‑tension electrical equipment and cable management systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control techniques such as FIFO or FEFO.
• Ability to work with EPC project documentation.
